Explore Boracay

Boracay's white-sand beach earned the island its reputation, and the reputation is mostly accurate. What most trips miss is the rest of the island — the inland Ati communities, the quieter beaches on the back side, and the parts of Boracay that don't show up in the social media posts. This trip includes both versions.

About this trip

This is a five-day Boracay trip designed for travelers who've already heard the headlines and want a more honest version of the island. You stay on the quieter end of White Beach, you spend a day on a private boat instead of a packed party catamaran, and you spend an afternoon with the Ati community, the indigenous people of the island whose history most visitors never encounter. It is still a beach trip — just one that doesn't pretend Boracay is only one thing.

  • Daily breakfast
  • All private transfers, including the ferry crossing to Boracay
  • Private outrigger for the around-island day

Things Worth Knowing

Boracay closed for six months in 2018 for environmental rehabilitation, and since then the island operates under tighter regulations. Some old vendors and activities are no longer available, and the island is better for it.

The beach is busy in peak season, particularly January and February. We can recommend the quietest weeks if you have flexibility.

The Ati visit is real, and it isn't a tourist set piece. We ask travelers to be respectful, ask questions, and not treat it as a photo opportunity.

Cancellations within ninety days of departure are not permitted. Rates are per person, based on double occupancy, and subject to change.

Where you stay

We work with a small set of hotels and resorts on the quieter southern end of White Beach, away from the busier middle stretch. These tend to be smaller, better designed, and walking distance from the beach without being in the noise.

Day By Day
1
day one

Arrival

You're picked up at Caticlan airport and ferried across to Boracay, then driven to your hotel on the quieter end of White Beach. The afternoon is yours. The sunset on White Beach is what most people come for, and on day one you have the energy to actually watch it.

2
day two

Around the island by boat

A private outrigger for the day, with a route around the island that hits the quieter beaches most day-tours skip. Puka Beach in the morning, lunch on the boat, and snorkeling at Crocodile Island in the afternoon. The point is to see Boracay from the water without the crowd.

3
day three

The Ati community

A morning visit with the Ati community in the inland part of the island. The Ati are the indigenous people of Panay and were the original inhabitants of Boracay, and the visit is structured as a conversation, not a performance. Lunch is served by the community. The afternoon is unstructured.

4
day four

Water sports or rest

This is the day we leave open. Some travelers want to kitesurf at Bulabog Beach on the back side of the island, which has consistent wind from November through April. Others want to do nothing. We arrange whichever side of this you want.

5
day five

Departure

Transfer back to Caticlan for your onward flight, with time for a final coffee on White Beach if you want it.

Boracay

The white sand earned the island its reputation. We add the parts most Boracay trips miss — Ati communities, inland villages, a slower side of a fast island.

We don't sell Boracay as a fixed itinerary. This is the trip we'd build for travelers who want the beach without the crowd, and who care about seeing more than the marketing photo. If you want a longer trip, a quieter version, or Boracay paired with Palawan, that's the conversation we have on the call.
