Explore Bohol
Bohol is the destination most travelers underestimate before they go and overpraise after. Centuries-old stone churches, the Chocolate Hills in the dry season, river cruises through palm forests, tarsiers smaller than your hand, and white-sand beaches on the offshore island of Panglao. It is one of the most well-rounded destinations in the country.

Things Worth Knowing
Bohol was hit by a major earthquake in 2013, and several of the historic churches were damaged. Some have been reconstructed, others remain partially in ruin. We're honest about what's standing and what isn't.
The Chocolate Hills are most dramatic in the dry season, January through May. In the wet months, the hills are green and the visual effect is different.
Tarsiers are nocturnal and stress-sensitive. The conservation area is protected and the visit is quiet and structured. Visitors who treat it as a photo opportunity will be politely asked to leave.
Cancellations within ninety days of departure are not permitted. Rates are per person, based on double occupancy, and subject to change.
Where you stay
Bohol's accommodation is concentrated on Panglao Island, which is where most travelers stay even if they're touring the inland. We work with a small set of well-run resorts and boutique hotels on the quieter beaches, away from Alona Beach. There are also a few inland heritage stays for travelers who want a closer base for the Chocolate Hills.
Arrival in Tagbilaran
Pickup at Tagbilaran or Panglao airport, drive to your hotel. Check-in. Afternoon walking tour of the Blood Compact Site and the Baclayon Church, one of the oldest stone churches in the Philippines, dating to the late 16th century. Quiet evening.
Chocolate Hills and tarsiers
A drive into the interior for the Chocolate Hills, a geological formation of over a thousand limestone mounds that turn brown in the dry season. The viewing platform at Carmen gives you the best view. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, a visit to the Tarsier Conservation Area, where the world's smallest primate is observed in protected forest. Back to the hotel.
Loboc River and Anda
A morning cruise along the Loboc River, with lunch served on the boat. The river runs through palm forest and small villages, and the cruise takes about an hour and a half. In the afternoon, a drive to the eastern side of the island for the Anda area, with quiet beaches and caves. Back to Panglao for the evening.
Diving or snorkeling at Balicasag
A boat day from Panglao to Balicasag Island, one of the best diving sites in the country, with a drop-off wall, sea turtles, and large schools of jackfish. Snorkelers will see the same reef in shallower water. Lunch on the boat. Back to Panglao in the afternoon.
Panglao
The day is unstructured. Most travelers spend it at the resort or at one of Panglao's quieter beaches. Alona Beach is the most well-known and the busiest. Dumaluan and Doljo are quieter alternatives.
Departure
Transfer to Tagbilaran or Panglao airport for the flight back to Manila or onward.
We don't sell Bohol as a fixed itinerary. This is the trip we'd build for travelers who want range — heritage, nature, and beach — in one destination. If you want to skip the inland, focus only on Panglao, or pair Bohol with Cebu or Siquijor, that's the conversation we have on the call.
